
Bob B. Amoako CFP®, RICP®
Bobby Amoako, CFP®, RICP® joined the firm in 2023. He enjoys learning about the financial planning profession and working closely with clients to identify their “Why?"
Bobby graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning. Bobby holds a Series 65 license and passed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) exam in the summer of 2022. As of September 2025, Bobby is also a Retirement Income Certified Professional® and looks forward to helping clients achieve a fulfilling retirement by creating strategies for sustainable retirement income, optimizing Social Security benefits, and preparing for long term financial needs.
He is an active member of the local Financial Planning Association (FPA) chapter and a volunteer for Britepaths and the VITA United Way Greater Richmond & Petersburg program.
Bobby grew up partly in Kumasi, Ghana and Bristow, VA. He loves to travel, hike, spend time with loved ones, and indulge in all things sports and music.
